Your Twitter is Not My Twitter
ur twitter is not my twitter.
on library, internet, and twitter.
u r what u read
like u r what u eat
u no unstand lol
I have talked about this a few times but let me say it again
In short your Twitter is not my Twitter
What do you see on Twitter is not what I see on Twitter
Twitter is like Internet or it is like a library
Let me tell you a story about library
I am a avid book reader. Since about 1992 I visit library about every other day and stay there for several hours
So for example I'm familiar with all my local libraries. The library in Mountain View in Sunnyvale in Los Altos and palo alto.
And the library in Foothill College and deanza college , and sometimes I visit the math library at Stanford University
If you go to a library everyday you became familiar with the place.
You know every room every aisle and every bookshelf
I even know what type of books are in what aisle and their classification number
And there are two classification systems used common in USA
After you visit a library for a year or two you became so familiar with it it became boring
Until one day you are trying to find some book on some topic that you never heard of then all of a sudden you realize there are 10s of books in this particular corner that you never realized it is there
Now Internet is similar
Your Internet is not my Internet
My Internet is not your Internet
Because each person have particular cultural background and environment. We have particular interests and habits on what sites we visit on the Internet
When two persons are close such as you and your brother then the type of things you see on Internet are very similar
But if you do not share the same neighborhood or the same city or the same country or the same language or the same cultural background, then what do you see on Internet is entirely different from another person
Similar is the situation on the Twitter website
Twitter website is vast. You can never finish reading it in your lifetime
you cannot even know what possible content are on twitter unless you spend a month focusing on that research
although it is true that information on twitter is often dramatic and fake news
