This song is based on Legend of the White Snake, a Chinese folk tale. The story is about a White snake and her sister a green snake, both are 精Jing1. Once the white snake was saved by a male student, and fell in love with him, and wishes to become his wife and serve him for her gratitude. However, since she is a monster as a matter of fact, there lies several obstacles in their union… Here's the white snake is singing, of her devotion to the guy.
