Ok, back. Now, the test is available here: Source www.wired.com. Here's a quote about the test:
Psychologist Simon Baron-Cohen and his colleagues at Cambridge's Autism Research Centre have created the Autism-Spectrum Quotient, or AQ, as a measure of the extent of autistic traits in adults. In the first major trial using the test, the average score in the control group was 16.4. Eighty percent of those diagnosed with autism or a related disorder scored 32 or higher. The test is not a means for making a diagnosis, however, and many who score above 32 and even meet the diagnostic criteria for mild autism or Asperger's report no difficulty functioning in their everyday lives.

Is the Test Bogus?
Even the simplest psychological test, such as asking how old are you, or what colors you like, or what movies you like, has some significance in characterizing you. And in some sense such info considered as a applied science are at work in everyday situations: when you fill out your profile in one of the gazillion social networking or blog or dating sites.
And now if you take skepticism of psy tests to the extreme, then it is sensible to question the validity of the entire field of psychiatry, refuting the establishment, institutions, their research, personality disorder or psychopathy definitions, certifications, legal applications, etc.
The bottom line being that psy isn't a hard science, especially those with social or clinical approachs. (as opposed to neuro-science approach.)
So, whether this test is bogus, really depends on what you mean. Needs more qualification.
But am rather a expert on this. This test, among all such test that populates the internet for 10+ years, is rather closer to the valid side of the scale, all things considered…
… the autism syndrome … is kinda a fishy thing, part of the personality disorder collection. In one moment, me or you or some big percentage of the population are all a bit abnormal, but then, one could say the entire modern society is a fucked up abnormality. Typically, the defining line is whether a person can function in society. So, if you still have wifes, children, jobs, then you are fine. But if you are living on the street, frequent jails, then you are pathological.
