Hozier - Take Me to Church
A powerful song, in particular when chorus “Take Me to Church” comes in. But when you watch the music video, it's a huge disappointment. Completely ruined it.
This song, turns out to be a blasphemy. And the music video, completely ruined it. What a dumb ass guy. The music vid made it concrete and clear, it's about gay, and violence, and against the church. A very political song. Without the music vid, this song would be far greater, leaving the lyrics to listener's imagination.
Not giving a concrete meaning is in fact a big part of art of songs, or poetry.
