Who Wrote It?

XahLee.org is a personal website created by me, Xah Lee. I'm a computer programer by profession. I love learning and writing. Usually i take notes while i learn. Gradually, over the past 15 years, notes become tutorials, essays, expositions, with increased quantity and quality.

The domain name xahlee.org was created in 2000. Before that, my work was hosted on “best.com/~xah/” since 1997.

XahLee.org is a intellectual excursion in math, programing, visual arts, and humanities. Math reference works, programing tutorials, photo and visual art galleries, social commentaries, classical literature collection.

As of 2010-03, XahLee.org has about 4015 HTML pages. About 2500 pages are written from scratch by me. The rest 1500 pages are computer manuals and classical world literatures, with annotation by me.

Donation and Advertisement

XahLee.org or its previous hosting address “best.com/~xah” has been on the web since 1997. It is advertisement free. It is linked from over a thousand educational institution and reference websites. Starting in 2010-03, in need to pay the rent, the site is starting to host advertisements. Please donate if you find the site useful.
