On the Nature of the Like Button

• the like button, is a nasty thing.
• (then a jargon is ascribed to this, called gamification, by reddit, YouTube, etc.)
• on elon x, when u like a post, that guy's post start to show up in your deck, otherwise no show, even if you follow and avidly read them.

• the problem is, liking a post is not the same as desire to see more of it.
• so, it forces you, to basically promote the website (so called platform). (i.e. increase user activitity statistics)

• used to be, i never thumbup anything since its invention in 2009 by zukerbug fuckface facebook.

• if i really appreciate a post, i reply and say thank you or similar.
• this is the natural human interaction.
• you should do the same. put human back in human communication.

the lazy like, induces numb brain and alienation and goad clickbait.

by the way, the like-button is private, to you and the author, since about 3 months ago.

• the above is about the like-button on elon x. before elon, and elsewhere, it's far worse.
• It's public. meant to entice traffic, more to read, before artificial intelligence era suggestions.
• during jack dorsey fuckface's twitter, it became ways for the deepstate sjw pawns to fish you out for mob attack for wrong thought.
