Chinese Character Tattoo, Good or Bad?

my roommate actually bought this. like chinese tattoo on white body, westerners translate english words into chinese and put them together, thought it's cool. but it rather looks idiotic

it doesn't work because, each Chinese character usually have tens of meanings. What it exactly means depends what chars goes before or after.
