This shell is called Sand Dollar. It is quite amazing that there are creatures that create it, and such a pattern! Look carefully, the pattern is formed by little needle wholes. It is about 5 cm, and rather delicate. A fall on the floor would break it into pieces. This is was given to me in California, USA, in 2002.
