>>> The Ordo Imperialis >>> General Expecations of Conduct by Visitors >>> Updated: 20JUNE10 The regulations listed herein are general standards that are expected to be followed by visitors and combat troops alike. This is not an exclusive list. Ordo personnel and Ordo administration maintain the capability to enforce and modify regulations as they see fit, in order to maintain a sense of order and sim stability. In short: welcome to Titan, you are here under our expectations. If at any time you experience difficulties or wish to refute a regulation, we invite you to register on our forums at www.ordoimperialis.com. Please post within the public section. Ordo personnel will reply from there. Furthermore, if at any time you are receiving unfair treatment or are being attacked with the hub by a third party, please notify Ordo personnel immediately. We intend and will fight to maintain an enjoyable atmosphere for combatants. >> [General Expectations] > BEING ARMED: Any individual who is present and wishes to visit under neutral terms must be completed disarmed, with all weapon-like dives detached. This does not apply to allied groups. > HOSTILES: Military affiliations are recognized regardless of attire, group status, or tags. - Example: If you a member of "generic military" and you are unarmed, and out of uniform and group tags, you are not excluded from either your group affiliation or its diplomatic status. - If you are a member of an existing opposing faction and wish to visit, you will need to be unarmed, and cleared by a standing member of the Ordo Imperialis who is at least a W-1 in authority, or, the current commander on base (OIC/NCOIC). > ENFORCEMENT: The Ordo Imperialis and its personnel hold all rights to, at any time: - Make direct orders to any/all visitors inside Ordo Imperialis controlled locations. > DECENCY: All visitors must conform to the following decency rules: - No annoying/offensive/obscene attachments, clothing, gestures, etc. - Refrain from creating/rezzing objects that disrupt Ordo Imperialis operations. - Ageplay, ageplayers, 'baby,' 'children,' underage depictions are strictly forbidden. >> [Combat Expectations] - General > ENGAGEMENT IN THE SPAWN: The spawn point is designed for safe entry into the simulator and is combat free. You may, however, be engaged within the spawn if you are determined to be abusing its point and purpose. Engaging Ordo Imperialis within defined home points (the bunker to the northwest) will result in banishment. > AVATAR SIZE: Avatars that are considered 'tinies;' ex: use of an AO to deform size into a small shape are strictly forbidden in Ordo territory if for combative purposes. > TELEPORTATION: It is acceptable to teleport one another through normal Profile>Offer Teleport (LL supplied) means. However, if one's TP fails in combat; ex: shot and not sent home, it is expected that the individual in questions walks back to the sim border and ceases combat act. > HOLLOW BUILDINGS: It is not acceptable to use the false/hollow buildings as a safe area-- do not go inside them. > TIME LIMIT: Single or loose groups of "lone wolf" attackers are not permitted to attack the region for over 90 minutes within a given period of time. There is no specific limitation for organized, group vs. group assaults. > HOME REGION: If you belong to a combat group, your group's region must be open for combat in order for you to assault. > MYSTERIOUSLY BEYOND POINT OF SIM TRANSITION: If you magically find yourself in a prim, or over ten meters further than you should have been upon sim transition . . teleport home. No exceptions. > TECHNICAL PROBLEMS VIA LATENCY: In the event that functions (ex: weaponry not causing damage) are majorly hindered by latency, you will be expected to cease combat functions until the problem passes. >> [Combat Expectations] - Armaments > NUMBER OF WEAPONS: No one may wield more than (2) weapons at any given time, actively; in other words, you may "dual wield," but you may not "quad" or "triple" (etc) wield. Using two wrist weapons and a weapon in each hand is forbidden. > LIMIT ON AMMUNITION: Any ammunition clip for infantry that exceeds 200 rounds is prohibited. Vehicles are not subject to ammunition limitation. > IMPULSE: any round or munitions that applies a continuous impulse after initial firing from the weapon is prohibited. > MEGAPRIMS: railguns, megaprim ammunition, or ammunition otherwise unusually large with the intent of piercing prims is prohibited. > EXPLOSIVE FREQUENCY/INTERVAL: All explosive weaponry must have a reasonable interval between use: As a general rule of thumb: 1 second per 1 m of explosive; this is not explicit, but expect to be scrutinized if your conduct can be termed as "explosive spam." > EXPLOSIVE RANGE: rockets, bombs, grenades, and similar explosives launched from an avatar (or attachment) intended for infantry use may not exceed 10 meters (as standardized by the Linden Labs llRezObject limitations) by point of impact in any direction. Any/all falloff from kill prims must also remain within this range. Avatar/infantry based explosives must be used via an appropriate platform: rocket launchers, hand grenades, under-barrel grenades and so forth. > NUCLEAR WEAPONS/DAMAGE OVER TIME: All weapons that include prolonged damage, use a system that pushes objects/avatars other than their own, forcefully restrict movement of vehicles/avatars, automatically acquire targets, and items defined as "nuclear" or "nuke", are restricted by default unless approved by the administration. > SPECIAL CASE BY CASE PROHIBITION: The Ordo Imperialis reserves the right to prohibit weapons based upon maker, design, or otherwise. Prohibited: - - Trenchcoat Tech: Eliminator; Eraser - - Firecore: Everything >> [Combat Expectations] - Vehicles > DEPLOYMENT: Vehicles must be rezzed from the hub. The only exception to this would be tanks-- if, for example, a tank crosses the sim border and loses their sit base. It would be acceptable to re-rez that sit base. > TELEPORTING IN VEHICLES: Prohibited, period. > ARMOR COUNTERS: No vehicle may have an HP (armor) rating that exceeds 100 hit points without prior approval. Armor must degrade at least 1 hp per 1 collision. No filtering of collisions or differentiation based upon mass, size, etc. Demonstration that hp counter is ineffective will result in removal of vehicle or degradable armor. This regulation does not apply if the vehicle or armored subject is able to be destroyed with no less than a 5m radius explosive. > VEHICLE EXPLOSIVES: Explosives rezzed from standard vehicles (or specific vehicle attachments) may not exceed 15 meters. > FLEET SHIPS: All non-physical vehicles (fleet ships, capital ships, or similar as specifically defined to include internal space for avatar movement while stationary/moving), may attain a maximum blast from point of collision of no more than 15 meters. > EXCEPTIONS: All items that exceed the defined limitations of devastation must be approved by the administration prior to their use. By default, all items are prohibited unless otherwise stated. > DRONES: all unmanned vehicles (satellites, drones, etc.) must be cleared by the administration prior to their use. > FAIR USE / INTENDED USE: It is not acceptable to circumvent expectations in regards to teleporting in vehicles by, for example, flying a fighter jet over to our base and jumping out. >> [Combat Expectations] - Technical Portions > REZ SLAVES: No weapon (vehicles included) may use more than seven firing rez slaves simultaneously. For example, if your assault rifle uses more than seven rez slaves to fire, it is prohibited. If your fleet ship has ten rez slaves, split between two individual turrets (five each), it is acceptable. > TRICKERY: Use of phantom, rez offsetting, or high velocity rounds to pierce land or solid objects is strictly prohibited. > MOVEMENT ENHANCEMENT - JETPACK: Jetpacks that enhance/restrict avatar movement via inertia, buoyancy force and other physics enhancing devices beyond 75m from initial point of contact are forbidden. Any item that applies any direct impulse on any axis than Z is forbidden (falling forward after taking altitude is not applying impulse; it is gravity unless the jetpack itself is giving the push). Any device that so allows an avatar such mobility must be accompanied by a reasonable cool-down timer between use, equaling or greater than 15s per charge. > MOVEMENT ENHANCEMENT - DODGEROLLERS: Any dodgeroller that permits the use of its ability when the avatar is in flight is forbidden. Any dodgeroller than pushes an individual beyond the distance of 5 meters is forbidden. > EXCEPTIONS: Bloodfist is strictly prohibited from using any sort of movement enhancer within Ordo territory; you may thank Carlla Magic for that! > BREACHING: All items that utilize movement that exceeds 5.0 meters in distance from initial point of movement through objects is prohibited. > LAGGY DEVICES: Any device which generates unreasonable levels of latency may be deemed unfit and prohibited within Titan. Refusal to cease the use of said device(s) will result in removal from the region. >> [Punishment] > Many violations will receive a curt warning on first offense, provided it is determined the act was without malice. Intentional violation of regulations or repeated violation will result in suspension from the region. Unlike other regions, the Ordo Imperialis does not have a "time limit" or "set time" of banishment. If you or your group is banned from the Ordo estate group, it is up to you to present a written apology and hope for the best. >> [Disclaimers] > Restrictions are not limited to those mentioned in writing. > The Ordo Imperialis reserves the right to change these expectations without notification. > Parcel/estate ejections, bans, object removal, removal of simulator access, and/or denial of script, build, movement privileges are at the discretion of the administration and may be used regardless of the situation. > The administration is not required to inform you of any actions made against your avatar(s)/group(s)/object(s) etc.
